“ La Cambera de los Moros “is located in the valley of Valdáliga, more specifically in the Penal Cotera Birch of the Sierra del Escudo. This area is placed between the towns of San Vicente del Monte and Bustriguado.

Although some authors date it from the Roman period, others dispute this period. For this reason, the date of its construction remains a mystery. But what you can establish without any doubt is the sixteenth century as the date on which the Cambera is left and they start to build `the Camino Real´, in the bottom of the valley.
The road is an old paved road and, just to save up the steep slope of the area, was built with a zigzag  shape. This path, from which we preserve about 1690m appears sporadically while climbing.

Currently Cambera structure consists of large slabs made of sandstone creating an uneven floor . However, the inevitable passage of time makes us think of that floor was
once much more regular .

Throughout all the way there are numerous signs of wear . Deep scars and jagged
result of heavy traffic load shod animals.

To build `The Camino Real´,the resources of the area were used and large excavations were carried along its entire hillside. The technique used for its construction was surprising. Side stone walls were built to level the platform .
